Children, teenagers, and adults are expected to thrive in a very competitive world.
If they use good manners, they will be set apart from others, therefore creating an
everlasting positive impression.
I am Adriana Rivett, an expert in etiquette for children, young adults, and etiquette for business. I am a strong believer that in the competitive world we live in, there is an ever-greater need for higher standards not only professionally but in civility.
I am very passionate about the importance of good manners hence I started coaching after gaining a certification to teach etiquette.
I have experience working with children in a school environment. Working with children made realised how crucial is to teach good manners. This realisation inspired me to teach manners and etiquette, because learning good manners from early age will set a person apart from others enabling to build positive relationships, communicate effectively in society and have more harmonious social environment.
It is essential to emphasise that good manners go beyond politeness and etiquette, there is a combination of respect, empathy, and consideration for others.
Manners is a social skill that will help any individual to feel confident in any aspect of their social and professional lives, such in family and social events, public places, restaurants, meetings, interviews, and this is just to mention a few.
MY BACKGROUND
I have an University degree in Finances and International affairs and I speak fluent
Spanish and English with some competency in French and Italian.
I worked in the financial system for over 7 years, then I became very interested in teaching. I studied to become a teacher and have experience teaching at college level, additionally I did a course to become a pupil support assistant and with this I worked in a primary school.
I am a certified etiquette teacher, specialised in areas of Social Etiquette and Table Manners.
Manners matters offer parents the opportunity to exposed Children/Teen to the world of good manners and etiquette in small, private, custom classes.
The program offers opportunities for both boys and girls to learn the fundamentals of good manners as well as the importance of kindness and respect for others in a fun learning environment, with interactive learning exercises such as role-playing, hands-on interactive and visual activities.
Research show that children and teens are more receptive to learn proper manners when instruction comes from an outside source.
Classes can be individually structured for schools, classrooms, playgroups, parties.
